At Pusch Wahlig Workplace Law, the opportunities for part-time work and work from home advertised by many law firms are actually a reality. This was a decisive factor in my choice of employer.
Associate
-
A desire to spend time with your family while also continuing to develop professionally is not seen as a contradiction here – this is a refreshing attitude that makes everyday life more pleasant.
Managing Associate
-
By work-life balance we mean a family-friendly organization that sees the individual not only as a person with functional responsibility, but also as a person with responsibility for his or her family. PWWL skillfully achieves this.
COO
-
PWWL supports me in gaining my professional qualification and further education by offering flexible working hours. I think this approach is great, because it can’t be taken for granted.
Assistant
-
It is particularly important to me to play my part in building up a law firm that genuinely allows a balance to be achieved between exciting, challenging work and family life.

Attorneys
Excellent lawyers with a background in labor law will find that our firm is the perfect fit. With us, you will be able to work on fascinating labor law cases at the highest level.
Experienced colleagues will be on hand to help when you join us and during your further development. In addition, every new employee is assigned a “buddy” who will provide any advice and support that you may need.
Our double-checking principle and direct contact with clients give you the opportunity to quickly develop your career in an international environment, right through to partnership. We will support you if you wish to complete a part-time doctorate or train as a certified labor law specialist.
The career path at Pusch Wahlig Workplace Law is completely transparent. You join us as an Associate. During your time as an Associate, the focus is on your professional and legal training. You work together with the partner leading the case and have direct client contact right from the outset.
You can become a Managing Associate at PWWL three years after admission as an attorney at the earliest. This involves taking individual responsibility for handling cases as well as responsibility for staff. Appointment as a partner becomes an option after a minimum of five years – considerably earlier than at large law firms.
Trainees and research assistants
Our trainee lawyers have the opportunity to work on cases in a practical setting during their placement and practical training, or during their work experience. We make sure that your work with us is closely aligned with your exam preparation.
Of course, the traineeship also offers the opportunity for us to get to know one another better than in a normal application process. A “buddy” also makes it easier to get started and will be on hand in addition to your official instructor.
If you have not yet started your legal traineeship but have successfully completed your first state examination and have already acquired in-depth knowledge of labor law, we would be pleased to receive your application as a research assistant with our firm.
Our application process
Our selection process involves a legal discussion, which we conduct with applicants for positions at all levels, from research assistants to partners. The main aim of this interview is to give both sides a feeling for how collaboration in joint case work would develop.
Teamwork is an essential element in our work and in our self-image, so we want to communicate it to you as early as possible. Depending on the course of the interaction, the legal discussion will take place during the first meeting or later on in the process of getting to know one another.

Business Services
Our Business Services staff are essential members of our team. They make a significant contribution to the overall success of our firm. Without skilled and dedicated lawyer’s assistants, assistants, and team members from the finance, billing, marketing, IT, HR and front desk departments, even the best attorneys cannot do their job. Which is why we also say to non-lawyers: welcome to the team!
Lawyer’s assistants/assistants
Lawyer’s assistants and assistants are the first telephone contacts for our clients, and invariably the best informed. They are responsible for ensuring that work runs smoothly in all client-related matters and for organizing travel, conferences, conference calls and meetings. The high degree of personal responsibility and the variety of tasks involved make this job with our firm a very attractive role.
Support employees
We also employ staff from the following professions in the finance, billing, marketing, IT, HR and front desk departments: business management specialists, financial accountants, office communication specialists, bankers, foreign language correspondents, business psychologists, hotel specialists – and further additions are always possible.
Due to our continuous growth, we are also open to unsolicited applications.
